In collaboration with our advocacy and communications teams, we created a comprehensive package of materials to commemorate the global anniversary of SOS Children's Villages. Our message and call to action were thoughtfully crafted, ensuring that we put the children and young people at the center of our narrative. We approached this with great care, moderating our tone to reflect the true purpose of our commemoration: celebrating not the organization, but the resilience and strength of our target group and their positive achievements in life.
I led the visual branding efforts, ensuring that all materials reflect our positioning: "Every child and young person should grow up with the bonds they need to develop their potential." Here, we wanted to show the importance of connections in a child's development and their road to independence and self-reliance. I worked on the symbolism, edited videos, created short animations, and shaped the communications strategy, ensuring, together with my team, that every element aligned with our core message. This project included easy-to-use templates, Microsoft Teams backgrounds, communication tips and tricks, and many other branded materials and audiovisual elements for both internal and external use. Additionally, I worked on the internal communications efforts to bring this project to all 137 countries where SOS Children's Villages operates, providing our federation with the right tools and materials to ensure a consistent and powerful message across the globe.
To commemorate 75 years of impact, SOS Children's Villages released '75 Years of Impact' – a publication that tracks our programs' influence on the lives of children, young people, their communities, and our advocacy work to effect broader change. I worked together with the federation communications team on this publication's design and led the internal communications efforts. This publication showcases the significant progress and positive outcomes of our initiatives, reinforcing the importance of SOS Children's Villages' mission and the continuing need for our efforts in supporting children and young people without parental care.

To mark the 75th anniversary, we aimed to strengthen our positioning on the International Day of Families by emphasizing our advocacy efforts for children without, or at risk of losing, parental care. I collaborated with the digital and advocacy teams to communicate the significance of Family Day, highlighting the importance of supporting children in vulnerable situations. This milestone reflects the ongoing commitment and impact of SOS Children's Villages in empowering children and young people worldwide.
